OPENING THE LOCK BOX

Your access code is in your booking confirmation email. Have it ready before you arrive on site.

โ† Safety Hub

The lockbox is mounted on the driver's side of your trailer. Your booking confirmation email contains your trailer number and access code โ€” you'll need both.

1

Find Your Trailer

Each trailer has a number displayed on it. Use the trailer number from your booking confirmation to identify the correct trailer on site. Do not attempt to open a lockbox on a different trailer.

2

Locate the Key Box

The key box is mounted on the driver's side of the trailer. It is a small combination lockbox attached to the trailer frame.

3

Enter Your Access Code

Enter the access code from your booking confirmation email into the lockbox. The code is unique to your booking.

  • Dial each digit to your code
  • Press or pull the release button/latch to open
  • Retrieve the key from inside

Code not working? Double-check you're on the right trailer number and entering the code correctly. If it still won't open, call us on 0477 957 051.

4

Unlock the Trailer Hitch

Use the key to unlock the hitch lock on the trailer coupling. Keep the hitch lock unlocked for the duration of your hire โ€” you'll need it accessible for the return process.

Store the hitch lock in the red toolbox on the drawbar for safekeeping.

5

Return the Key After Use

Put the key back in the lockbox and click it shut until it locks โ€” you should hear or feel it click closed. The lockbox must be locked before you leave the site.

At return, repeat this process: lock the trailer, put the key back, click the lockbox shut.

Site is camera monitored. All pickups and returns are recorded. Ensure you return the key to the lockbox and click it shut at the end of your hire.
